This grind has been sold by us over the years as both a "254F" and a "260F", but we've chosen to standardize the name as the 254F. This camshaft is probably our most popular grind for mild builds. It offers excellent low-end torque, good mid-range power, and great vacuum while still having a healthy amount of chop to the idle. This makes it the perfect choice for heavier vehicles like trucks & fat fenders, or lighter cars with smaller engines.

7:1 minimum compression ratio, headers and aftermarket intake are suggested. Upgraded valve springs are suggested for both .330" & .355" lift versions but are not required for the .330" lift. Always install new or resurfaced lifters with a new cam.
