These are premium quality USA made hydraulic flat-tappet lifters. They are made from a low-porosity casting with the correct hardness for compatibility with US made aftermarket flat tappet camshafts, and assembled with heavy-duty internals that meet or exceed OE machining tolerances. They feature a Patented 4-Hole metering disc and an ultra-thin check valve disc for increased RPM potential and quick response. They do all of this while not requiring any special pre-load settings and retaining the quietest operation* of any aftermarket hydraulic lifter. This makes them ideal for both stock replacement or a modified hotrod engine.

Notes: The Hi-Lube option delivers extra oil from the oil band to the lifter face using an oiling flat precision ground partway down the side of the lifter. It also features a specially divided oil band to ensure the lifter internals are still fed the correct amount of oil. They may result in a nominal drop in oil pressure.

Lifter noise is not solely a product of lifter valving. Other variables include: cam lobe design (lobe major intensity), lobe base circle size, spring pressure, rocker configuration, and proper adjustment. Aftermarket cams are inherently noisier than stock cams due to faster lobe ramps/higher lobe intensity, & heavier valve springs. Some lobe designs are far noisier than others (e.g. our SR series, Comp Xtreme Energy™, & Lunati Voodoo™), these cams will be noticeably noisy even with a quiet lifter.
**Suggested maximum RPM only, based on lifter valving. Other factors such as spring pressure, valve train weight, rocker ratio, and lobe stability play a large role in RPM potential. You may be able to turn more or less RPM than listed.
